my story

Hi! I am Dina, a 19-year old girl from Denmark pursuing my dream in crochet and art. I started crocheting at 10 years old, and have been hooked ever since.

In the summer of 2024 my life turned upside down, when one of my crochet patterns went viral all over the danish media. I was contacted by the biggest publishers in Denmark, and signed a contract on my first crochet book (coming out May 2025).

I have been working on that project ever since, doing my very best to make something never seen before. An artistic take on a crochet book, making sure not a single page is boring to look at; down to the step-by-step pictures shot on handpainted patterned backgrounds. 

 Growing up with an artist mom, creativity has always been a major part of my life. Today I work side by side with her in our shared office space: A former Taxi HQ that we renovated and painted in magical colors. Our universes are closely linked and we are often involved in each others projects (in the best way possible). Together we share a dog named Else, who is always with us at the office. 

One of my finest missions is living and running my small business in the most sustainable way possible. I try to source everything secondhand: materials, tools, furniture etc. I love a good upcycling-project and honestly find way more joy in giving new life to old things than purchasing something new. 

I have always been drawn to yarn. In kindergarten I started a finger knitting club, and in 3rd grade I learned how to crochet. To me it is pretty magical how you can make almost anything from just a hook and some yarn.
